Sama Karim

Sama is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Psychology. Since joining the Computational Physiology Lab during her sophomore year, she has become especially interested in memory, olfaction, and neurodegenerative diseases, particularly in how changes in memory and sensory processing may intersect with neurodegeneration in clinical settings such as palliative and memory care. Outside of the lab and classes, Sama loves exploring Ithaca with friends and is always looking for a new movie recommendation!
